Pros
Cannot think of one. I would say the money but I got paid just as much as a guy that knew nothing off the street; that I would eventually have to train.
Cons
Every job they put me on was a hostile work environment. Example; there was a ton of racism, belittling, unqualified persons on every job I went to, the leads that would steal hours (break-time hrs) from their contractors. I would tell the OWNER (the owner was the only one recruiting, he ran the other guy-off) about the hostile work environment and the pay-rate, his reply would be, verbatim "take it or leave it." But, the irony was when I got hired he would say, "call me if you have a problem!" I also work for another telecommunications contracting company, that is based in AZ, that had work in Dallas more often then SDS. You would think being a Dallas based company they would have Dallas work, but no, I found out SDS burned a lot bridges in Dallas. They can't get any big company contracts. They do get companies like ETAK who propagated most of the racism and hostile work environments (don't believe me, just look). The webpage says,"At SDS we pride ourselves on providing Great Talent with Quality Service." Coming from Lucent to SDS, from what I experienced, SDS is lacking in talent and quality service.
I can only speak on the telecommunication installation side.
So, a warning to companies looking for contractors, pass on SDS.
I kept it real.
