Pros

Middle management and staff are easy to work with. Flexible schedule for remote employees. Decent salary but the benefit package is lacking. No 401k match.

Cons

There are no women on the Executive team and really, it doesn't appear to have a lot of opportunity for any to join. The company is basically run by two brothers who are closed off to client and employee feedback. If there is a complaint, they have an excuse and don't take accountability. Many promises will be made during the interview process but they won't be kept. (At least in sales, I cannot speak to other departments.) There are a lot of broken systems within the company that negatively impact implementation and support. While I get that companies have growing pains, this is the second EHR startup for the Co-CEOs, I would expect that they would have had a better handle on many of these. Some members of the Executive team are volatile and unprofessional and their reputation follows them in the industry.

Pros

Overall, the team is amazing to work with. There are a ton of people who genuinely care and leadership truly support their teams. There have been many changes over the last year that I have been here and we are trying to make this company the best we can. It has been one of the best companies I have worked for in my career so far and look forward to where we are going.

Cons

Navigating some of the changes and working through breaking bad habits or old ways of thinking has been frustrating.

Pros

The mission in behavioral health is important, and many employees are genuinely committed to the populations served. The work can be meaningful and challenging, with opportunities to take on significant responsibility. Colleagues are often thoughtful and mission-driven, and remote flexibility can be a positive.

Cons

During periods of organizational change, workforce decisions have at times felt abrupt and poorly timed, including changes occurring around major holidays. Communication and change management can be inconsistent, which can be especially difficult in a mission-driven environment. I also observed concerns among employees about whether internal people practices consistently reflected the organization’s stated values around care, equity, and inclusion, particularly as responsibilities expanded without corresponding adjustments in compensation or support. Over time, this contributed to attrition and reduced trust across several teams.
