Pros

Usual OT and consistent hours.

Cons

Management wants you to succeed, but does not follow up on anything that you want to achieve. If you want to improve your skills to shadow department leads or learn new skills, you will constantly have to ask and usually there is never time for you to obtain those goals. You are stagnant in your role unless you are in a corporate level role, if you are in manufacturing; you are a cog in the machine doing every department's work because certain areas are always losing their temp workers and regular employees.

Pros

Direct leader was amazing. Working together efficiently and effectively.

Cons

After dedicating 8 years to Stryker, I was extremely disappointed to learn upon separation that only 40 hours of my accrued PTO would be paid out, despite having accumulated approximately 240 hours. What is most frustrating is that this was never clearly communicated during discussions with HR regarding my departure. Had I known this policy earlier, I could have made different decisions about using my earned time off. Employees invest years of service and should have complete transparency regarding how accrued benefits are handled upon separation. I am sharing this so current employees can educate themselves on the PTO payout policy before making career decisions, as this was an unexpected and costly surprise for me.
