Pros
- Lots of young people, new ideas - Office is pretty nice (free coffee, gym on site) - Good name on resume - Good way for a new grad to get some experience.
Cons
- Many people are overworked. The expectation is that you work until you complete your over-matched workload. Those who care about their work, have almost no work/ life balance. - Leadership is out to lunch. Complete leadership turnover in only a few years. - Too much middle management that can't get things right. Same people kicking around, not fixing problems. - Unless you are in sales, you will be underpaid for you role. Fine for a new grad that needs experience but once you're an expert in your role, it's time to look elsewhere. - Leadership will pick "pets" and favourites for all promotions and awards. - Way too many people in HR for the size of the organization. Maybe send one of them to help out one of the teams desperate for help? - Office culture is cult-like with a good mix of rumour mongering thrown in - New international model will keep putting more jobs at risk - Anonymous complaints to HR are not anonymous. Be ready for backlash from your boss! - People will wax romantic about the "old Stryker" and how great it used to be. Well, it's not anymore, time for some change! - Watch out for the overly positive reviews. Those were posted by HR.
