Treats you like an employee but you are a 1099 contractor. Doesn't pay accurately because she uses unnecessarily complicated math to steal hundreds of dollars of what you should have made per month worked. So you are way below market value in compensation, but also have to cover your own tax liability and health benefits. So you actually make even less. Then you are expected to work like an employee on her schedule, given vague instructions and then expected to get it done, but with absolutely zero authority or required assets to get the job done and then berated in front of clients because "you are being negative", or "thats not what I meant, you should have ______". She is breaking New York State wage law, and committing tax fraud which you can and should avoid by filing an SS-8 form with the IRS. This is not a joke, frankly I do not care about her or her dumb company. But that crossed a line. Do not work for her she will abuse you, gaslight you, she doesn't know anything about architecture, so you won't learn anything from her. She is disrespectful, rude, and constantly deflecting and shifting blame. On countless occasions I attempted to address these issues and she just flat out refuses to even discuss her behavior. This is a classic example of out of control power trip behavior because no one is allowed to have an opinion or contribute anything because she is obsessed with unearned clout and status. Don't believe me? Go ahead. And look out for my book 12 months or so from the date of this review, I'll be spilling all the beans on the disgusting and disgraceful behavior rampant in the Ivy League architecture professor/boutique office category.
