Confused, terrible leadership - Director of Student Affairs Success Academy Employee Review

There are a lot of misunderstandings about Success Academy and what it does which means that I often have to represent SA and help people have a more accurate perspective on our work

Great colleagues. Learned a lot as someone new to the work force.

Terrible leadership. Students are disrespectful and rude and rarely held accountable. Wasn't even told we work 7am-5pm (probably wasn't paid for those extra hours either). Was rarely offered appreciation from higher-ups. Eva berated us for 45 minutes after the work day ended for "not knowing the Junior SAT scores" despite spending months working on getting Seniors to submit applications on time - which we did successfully. Was denied PTO three times when I explained it was for my own wedding and everything was already paid for before accepting the job. Called a PTO and was questioned by leadership (it's absolutely none of their business why I called PTO when I needed it). Developed severe anxiety and experienced 3 separate panic attacks after 7 months of this job.
