My time at SumUp as an Account Executive was a truly valuable chapter in my career. Her leadership was a game changer for me. The role itself isn't easy — as expected in a sales position, you’re responsible for generating your own leads, cold calling, and walking into businesses. You are rewarded as well for performance that is solely activity based which was a huge motivator for me in months where I struggled to hit quota or when I first started building my pipeline .
