Pros
• Opportunity to grow - positions open every now and then with little competition • Monthly team drinks • Company transparency - the business is generally informed of what’s going on by management
Cons
• Management - people in positions of power who are at each others throats which leads to my next point • Teamwork - teams don’t like to work for each other rather against each other. Lots of finger pointing too • Career Development - while there are opportunities to grow, the training beyond being a customer service agent is almost non-existent. Be prepared to learn on the job and be expected to know everything in a week • Flexibility & Sick - be prepared to be shunned for taking JUST ONE sick day. There’s also very little room for flexibility and this is because the business runs off the smell of an oily rag which means everyone is accountable for the business succeeding or failing. The managers are not fans of working from home unless you have a very good reason • Office - the number of employees have increased overtime and the office space is shared with another business so if you have a weak bladder good luck waiting for a toilet
