Pros
I worked at sungrade for 1 year. And it was the best year of my life and best job I’ve ever had. I grew immensely as an individual and made amazing friends. Gained massive amounts of confidence and implemented news habits and ways of thinking that literally changed my life. A lot of the structure on how sungrade operates has shifted, for the better! When I first started it was a little to hard core and had a bit of a frat style culture. But half way through my time here there was a change in management. And I have absolutely nothing bad to say from there on out. Sungrade gives you some of the best sales training you will ever receive. The managers genuinely care about their reps. The culture pushes you to do your best in sales and grow as a person, but isn’t overwhelming and allows you to have a sense of independence. The commission structure is unbeatable, from an entry level business development role up to your experienced account manager position there is an amazing opportunity to make great money. It’s structure makes certain that everybody gets fed regardless of position or experience.
Cons
Keep in mind when applying or reading the reviews on here that this is a commission only position and like any other sales job you will have your good months and your bad months. The majority of negative reviews on here are before the restructuring of management and does not reflect sungrade’s current environment. Sungrade is a hidden gem in the solar industry and if you are looking to break into sales for the first time or if you are already an experienced sales vet, there is no better place to be.
