Pros

Its a great experience knowing that you are providing solar to one of the most coal heavy states in the country. You can learn a lot here if your open to it. You can innovate and create business strategy. You create your own path with startups by owning your own role and branching out into the next logical step. There is always a pressure to break new ground and there is a dynamic energy that helps move this forward. Long term with startups the benefit is if you stick it out you share in the spoils once the company thrives. Company wants you to expand to help further the company

Cons

Its a startup. You have typical start up problems. Heavy workload at times and less holidays than a corporate job. Small missteps in a startup have large repercussions. Job burnout can happen trying to capitalize on market trends.

Pros

Selling Solar is an intersting product to sell

This is the complete bait and switch. 4 started in my training class being told it is a work from home high paying job well over 6 figures. After training we were told that we were expected to come into the office every day. the number one sales person based on the commission pay plan can't be making 6 figures let alone the 150k we were told he is making. Marketing this product to the 70+ age group is a death strategy for sales people. When you do happen to get a sell they pay you 30% up front then 70% of the little commission after it installs which is 90-120 days. The owners of the company sit in the room where the sales people are trying to drum up business one of the owners sits and looks at the wall spinning his fidget spinner while babysitting the sales people. Don't be fooled by the response of the company on other reviews, Nothing has gotten better in fact the view people that haven't turned over in the last 5 months say it has gotten worse. you might go far if you happen to be related.
