Pros
For me the location/commute is great and since I have to be here every day, that matters. More about the location, I like to get a walk in most days and the grounds are lovely for that purpose. There are walking paths where I can take a break and refresh. On cold, rainy, or otherwise bad days I go into the onsite gym. Lastly, I've never worked at a cleaner place and love the minty smell of our finished products when I go into the warehouse. I have met a ton of great people who are bright, passionate, and committed to their work. I have not met a single person who I do not like, people have been welcoming and open to collaborating. The work I do is important to me and to the company, which is fulfilling. We are setting goals for the year ahead and leadership has given us resources to understand what's important to the business and therefore what we need to focus on to maximize our shared success.
Cons
There is a lot of opportunity to improve past practices and trying to focus on the most important and impactful improvements is challenging. It's easy to get distracted by things popping up that you want to fix but you have to stick to the priorities.
