Pros
Since I started working at SuperShare I have seen the other side of the business on how the product works, which will help me elevate my skills to the next level. The team here does not compromise on features and user experience. The end goal is always how the user will be impacted which helps make the product better day by day. A typical day at super share would start with a Standup (A quick 15 mins call in the morning answering 3 simple questions. What I did do yesterday? what do I plan on doing today? and Do I have any blockers?), Post that calls we head back into working on our tasks or discussions or helping the team out. We dedicate up to 30% of our time to honing our skills by reading articles watching videos anything that would help us improve our skills. Usually, the team has lunch together and talks about random topics and plays a small game of contact(This really works as a refresher). We also have a pool table which we use almost on a daily basis to its fullest potential. The tech skills required are really high we believe in the bleeding edge of tech to be used in our project. We make sure that code is vetted by at least 2 people before its being merged and handed out to the QA. The process is very fine-tuned for performance and delivering the best user experience. Code has to be fully optimized and we don't believe in patchwork. We have dedicated cooldown periods between sprints where we focus on tech debt and writing test cases to future improve our code. We also have movie days and game nights (occasionally). This is an added plus which makes your want to stick around.
Cons
Since being in the social media realm, there are a lot of experimenting phases, sometimes features that you worked hard on might not hit well with the user and end up being phased out.
