Pros

The store manager has worked hard to create a fun and friendly working environment. There's very little drama among staff. Discount is very generous, it's hard to not leave a shift without buying something! Also as an employee you get to take one cooking class a month for free. It's a great way to beef up on your cooking skills and product knowledge. Very casual dress, it's nice to work somewhere where I don't have to look like I just stepped out of a fashion plate.

Cons

Constantly asking customers for their email, not everyone wants to be spammed. Mixed messages over the return policy. Management tends to give in to customers who throw a fit just to avoid the customer calling corporate to complain.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
