Pros

Sharing love of cooking, baking, entertaining with others. I learn something from chefs, co-workers or customers every day. We also get a nice discount, although that could change with re-organization.

Cons

Uncertainty of retail in general. We'll have to see what new ownership/ management is like.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
