Pros

It's amazing at the most recent positive reviews back to back. You can accomplish a lot by emailing your employees as a whole and pretty much berating the anonymous people who wrote a review and threatening the ones who may want to in the future. Clearly this isn't a pro to the company but not much is anymore.

Cons

I agree with parts of the previous positive reviews but mostly relate to the negative ones. Upper management is non responsive and micromanagement is intense. Workload is intense.

Surgical Notes Response

Surgical Notes in absolutely no way threatens or berates its teammates to write reviews. We send (as part of our automated email reminders) reminders to complete a Glassdoor review, which we will happily show a copy of this email here: https://archive.sendpul.se/v/4plw3/5n3w/ We continuously gather feedback from teammates and put their ideas into action. We also have regular engagement surveys with outlined action plans to go over the steps taken so far to implement the change. If there is something that you would like to discuss with the HR team, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to hr@surgicalnotes.com

Pros

Remote work is the only pro

Cons

The micro management is awful even at the director level. The turnover is high. Pay is low. The staff is unhappy. The clients are unhappy. The systems are outdated. The employees are so overwhelmed and overworked and no one receives training.
