Pros
The people I work with are amazing. I have not worked with a more committed, emotionally mature group. My Manager is fantastic. Community investment is great. You really have a sense that it is all about the patients and people. Leadership is always looking to improve. Even when dealing with an issue whether it be a process or technology issue you know it will eventually get fixed. Compensation including benefits. Opportunity for growth exists.
Cons
I wasn't sure if this was a pro or a con. Healthcare has undergone immense change in the last decade, particularly the last five years. Sutter has not been immune and the change has been substantial. It has been a necessity due to the regulatory and fiscal environment however it has been hard work. The saving grace is the benevolence shown towards staff and the understanding that this has been a challenging five years.
