Pros
Swagelok is a very financially stable company with excellent products and an unmatched distribution network. The benefits were good and the salaries were also better than many companies in the same industries. They have a philosophy of no lay offs for full time non-contract employees.
Cons
Swagelok's business and the industries they serve are very mature, so there is not a lot of change going on. Company is very political, often placing people in positions because of relationship as opposed to qualifications.
