Pros

Super close-knit team - got on so well with my colleagues and was devastated to leave them, made friends for life! Good discount Lots of opportunities for overtime Flexible scheduling - very understanding with college and personal commitments

Cons

Horribly understaffed - upper management had no interest in properly staffing the store which meant everyone was under pressure and staff members were constantly on call if people had to call in sick Really bad upper management - everyone outside of the actual store management (ie district and regional managers) is completely clueless about how things are actually run on the shop floor No staff appreciation - no recognition for long-time staff, never felt like anyone appreciated me going above and beyond Meaningless contract hours - on a 12 hour contract working at least 25 hours a week due to being understaffed, but meant I got paid half my usual wage when on annual leave

Pros

The management team is refined and very accommodating. I loved my time here. I had so many opportunities to learn and grow through my experiences, and working with the team was amazing. Holiday seasons were stressful but never unfun. The management here really makes you feel cared for. Love the discount on most jewelry as well.

Cons

Scheduling could be volatile during holiday seasons, but that's to be expected for a front-line sales position.

Pros

great introduction into luxury retail, great sales training, coworkers are very friendly, management really cares about you and is very nice but can get rude when stressed. generally a nice place to work, clean, very easy job overall, you make team bonuses which raise hourly to as much as 22 and hour

Cons

micromanaging from corporate, disorganized management, moderate turnover, things get stressful but also fun during busy seasons
