Pros
A great place to practice in public accounting. Technically challenging and interesting work, a plethora of opportunities to shine a grow, accessible partners/management and a diverse and fun staff group. This firm really care about their employees and treats them well. There are a lot of team building activities in the summer and even fun things happening during the busy season. There is also a lot of opportunity to volunteer and give back to the local community. Management doors are almost always open and there is a concentrated focus on continuous improvement. Parking is free and right outside the building!
Cons
This is public accounting. There are long hours during the busy season but you can expect that anywhere. If you do good work, people want to work with you and you sometimes get overloaded.
