Pros
The team aside from leadership were great, smart people were hired. My coworkers were the best part of my experience. The pay was decent.
Cons
Where to start? There was a revolving door of leaders, people either quit shortly after being hired or were blindly fired. Swyft poached high profile candidates who were at well established companies previously. They offered a generous base, but the commission structure kept changing and no one was ever fairly paid out on commission. Recruiters told us we would be entitled to equity, but once hired, we were told we had no right to equity. The CEO was never transparent about any decisions that were made, the communication between teams (engineering, customer success, sales, etc) was extremely poor. What we were told to sell changed weekly and were never provided encouragement or support from the CEO. The CEO understood the culture was toxic, but did nothing to improve the environment. Overall, the sales team sold out fear and anxiety rather than passion for the product due to the toxic culture and blatant lies from leadership. Start-ups are supposed to be chaotic, but Swyft is the absolute extreme, would never recommend anyone to join a company like this.
