The team and culture at Sydor Optics are top notch! The management really cares about the employees. The company is growing and breaking records every month. They invest in their people and are constantly investing in the newest technologies.

I really can't think of any cons to working at Sydor Optics.

Some of the coolest people I worked with, on second shift. Had once a month catering. Did offer a scholarship program to learn the trade, but did lock you into a minimum 3 year contract.

Only hires through temp agencies. Constant belittlement by First shift operators and technicians. Management doesn't really care about second shift and often throws them under the bus when a problem arises, despite the origin of the problem beginning on first shift. Kept the company open and running during the pandemic shutdown, blatantly lying about being an "Essential Service." Brought First Shift base pay up to $15/hour, but kept Second Shift at 14.25/hour with a $0.75 differential. Would monitor employees through security cameras and used this knowledge as a threat. Had to come back and edit this, front office keeps a fridge stocked with alcohol and will actively drink during operation hours, they try to hide it from production employees.
