Pros
- Smart, driven people in every department - Strong engineering leadership makes PMs' lives easier - Strong executives improve business outlook - Product quantifiably helps organizations and end-users - Fun and impactful projects in every bucket: AI&ML, consumer, data, enterprise, etc.
Cons
Not really cons, more things to note: - Product iteration often slowed by risk-averse healthcare enterprise customers. Seems to be the nature of customers' industries. You learn to work with them at their pace. - Product team was heavily involved in customer support, implementation and rollout, etc. Prepares you well for a variety of roles, but didn't feel like "pure product work" if there is such a thing. - Product and engineering focus can shift quickly with customer priorities. Especially true with large customers and contracts for this growth-stage company.
