Pros
A few nice people have made it enjoyable
Cons
The company suffers from an overgrown, ego-driven middle management layer that has created a toxic work environment. The technology is barely holding together and faces serious flaws that will inevitably cause long-term issues. Engineers are often assigned to meaningless projects designed to help non-technical leadership meet their quotas, with little to no intention of these projects ever reaching production. Opportunities for internal promotions are scarce, and instead of developing existing talent, the company frequently brings in outside hires for senior leadership roles. This has contributed to high turnover, with many employees leaving or being pushed out. The CEO’s leadership appears driven by personal interests rather than advancing technology or fostering innovation, creating further misalignment between company goals and employee efforts.
