Cons
The training process is very confusing. Many SOPs and WIs are outdated, and there doesn’t seem to be any intention of providing current, relevant training. Instead, everything is lumped into the learning center, even when it’s no longer applicable. There is little sense of community, and you’re not provided with the resources needed to succeed. It often feels like you’re left to fend for yourself, and when you ask questions, support is limited—largely because employees are overworked. The culture lacks joy, and work-life balance is nearly non-existent at times. Personally, I don’t agree with this type of environment. I’ve seen other large institutions invest in their employees’ mental and physical health, recognizing that miserable employees produce miserable work. Unfortunately, that same care and effort doesn’t seem to exist here.
