Pros

Working at Synergy Fiber has been one of the most rewarding steps in my career. I’ve had the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects that have sharpened my skills and expanded my knowledge in fiber infrastructure, network design, and troubleshooting. The leadership team is approachable and genuinely values the input of engineers at all levels. The company culture promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. What stands out the most is the support for professional development—whether it’s training, certifications, or mentorship, the company invests in its people. The team environment is strong, and everyone—from operations to engineering—is aligned toward delivering great service to clients.

Cons

The fast-paced environment may be overwhelming for some, especially during major deployments or upgrades. However, with the right mindset and support, it becomes a valuable learning experience.

Pros

Really good if you like passive-aggressive, PIP-happy management

Cons

If you're trying to start your career here, beware: they will work you to the bone and throw you at job sites from day one, especially if you've asked to do anything other than pull cable. If you're continuing your career here, beware: they will send you to job sites to do their bidding, regardless of whether or not pulling cable / testing is in your toolbelt. Accountants, developers, etc. - expect to dawn a hardhat & some brand new steel-toed boots to go along with your job site visits. Don't expect any levity here - this company is understaffed for the amount of work they attempt & have lost more than one client due to ineptitude. They are an arrogant institution that would rather listen to advice from a literal registered sex offender than the folks actually working the hard labor.
