Pros
Synopsys as a company is good in terms of benefits and job security. Bonus, RSUs (on specific years), insurance, holidays etc. are very good. Car policy, loans, medical benefits are some of the reasons you find people working there for many years.
Cons
Impressing the higher management by making technical writers to work for long hours. Lot of out-of-release works are imposed as KRAs - only to show fancy numbers and achievement slides to the management. No importance given to individual happiness, or growth. Annual compensation is less than 10 percent.
