Pros

Experienced and friendly colleagues in most roles with wide breadth of knowledge. Decent offices. Easy to get a job, especially for this market, if you have interview experience. Customers in healthcare/government so opens some doors when looking for other opportunities.

Cons

Associates are offered minimum wage, yet require a relevant degree/multiple prior years of experience. Hybrid is offered in some roles after 1y+ instead of after passing probation. Some associates are required to work in office when they have 0 other senior team members working with them. No clear progression in some roles. Some people with decades at the company have the same title as people that don’t. Similarly , increased responsibility in a role may not equate to an increase in salary. Though rare mandatory unpaid overtime required for cases outside of your control. Worthless usage of AI, development pushed forward to increase sales without full documentation of usage/ use cases that provide actual benefits other than possibly(best case) saving a couple of seconds. Usage of legacy systems that are no longer being developed but sold anyway that end up causing more harm than good. Systems are built on dated technologies, so not much use in that area if looking to advance your career. No real benefits outside of birthday leave, and minimum amount of annual leave in the market.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. It is not always easy to read, but it is important. We understand that your experience has left you feeling frustrated, and we value the opportunity to reflect on what we can do better. We are actively working on programmes to strengthen career progression, development opportunities, hybrid working and how we support colleagues through change. These are important areas of colleague experience and remain a priority for us as the business continues to grow. Our Associate Programme is designed as a two-year development route, with starting salaries from £25,000 and progression to £30,000 linked to six-monthly milestones. A degree is not a requirement for all Associate roles, although some roles do require specific skills, experience or technical knowledge. We know that progression needs to feel clear, fair and meaningful, and we are continuing to build clearer career pathways, stronger development conversations and more opportunities for colleagues to grow across teams, products and disciplines. We are also evolving our approach to hybrid working. We want to bring more colleagues together in person more regularly because we believe it supports collaboration, learning and connection. For most roles, we encourage colleagues to spend two or more days per week on site. Some roles, particularly Associate and early-career roles, may require more regular office time to support onboarding, coaching and development. As a business supporting health and social care, our technology has to make a real difference. We are investing in our products and use of AI with a clear focus on practical improvements for customers, frontline professionals, patients, families and people who rely on care services. We also work in a heavily regulated industry, so safety, security, governance and compliance are critical to our roadmap. Used well, AI can improve efficiency, reduce admin burden and help professionals spend more time where it matters most. We offer 25 days’ holiday, increasing to 27 days over time, as well as birthday leave. Our flexible benefits package also allows colleagues to choose what matters most to them, whether that is investing more into their pension, accessing private healthcare or purchasing additional holiday. We would welcome the opportunity to understand more about your experience. Please reach out to your HR Business Partner or People and Programmes Partner so we can listen, understand the detail and continue to improve. Thank you again for raising this. Tanya - CHRO

Pros

The only pro is the remote / hybrid working.

Cons

I could write a lot on this, but the two biggest challenges within the company are: 1. Disorganized processes and slow decision making. Operations felt chaotic, more like the downside of a start-up than the upside. Decisions moved slowly, inefficiencies were everywhere and few people seemed empowered or accountable to fix them. The technology, infrastructure, and ways of working often felt outdated and unnecessarily manual. 2. A People team lacking credibility and capability. From leadership down, the People function appeared out of depth. Initiatives such as career frameworks and progression tools being introduced felt more like surface level exercises than meaningful strategies. Despite the talk of being “people focused,” the execution of any initiatives lacked clarity, consistency and genuine understanding of what employees actually need.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m pleased our remote / hybrid working suited you, but I’m sorry that other aspects of your time did not meet your expectations. We recognise that some of our processes and tools have been too manual and slow. As we integrate our group of companies into one organisation, we’re investing in clearer processes, better systems and sharper ownership so decisions move faster. You’ve also raised concerns about our People team and career development. Our career frameworks are currently in the design and build phase to create greater transparency, with a communicated deadline of the end of our financial year. Alongside this, we’ve introduced Development Planning, Squiggly Careers training and toolkits, and a mentoring programme to support colleagues with their career development. We appreciate your honesty and will use this feedback as we continue to improve. Tanya
