Pros
The pay and benefits are the only pros working for T-Mobile
Cons
Leadership at T-Mobile is horrible all the way up to the CEO. Direct managers micro-manage to the extreme but when you actually need help they are not willing to help. Also T-Mobile is now requiring the C shot which is ridiculous. T-Mobile is all about being inclusive to everyone but there is no way to be inclusive and force medical treatment on people who do not belive in it. Leadership participates in gossip and they are extremely biased. Anyone with a medical condition that you can't see they will treat you badly and gossip about you. It's extremely hard to promote there unless you are a brown noser. Working at the call center is alot like High School, the cliques are obvious. When T-Mobile raised the base pay for all new hires a few months ago they also increased the pay for current employees, which sounds good but it wasn't. It was a slap in the face. For example someone working at T-Mobile for 10 years started at $14 and increased over the years to $19.77. Then the $20 minimum was applied so was given a raise to $20.39 which seems good but now this person with 10 years tenure and experience is only making .39 more than an inexpericed new hire. T-Mobile is desperate for new hires but you can't get hired unless you have the shot so they made it more attractive for new hires but screwed their long time workers. The way it is now at T-Mobile is completely different than it was my first 4 years there. They also say they don't force you to use a script but that is not true they absolutely do force scripts. They also focus heavily on sales more then they do customer service. They keep making the metrics harder to reach so our monthly bonuses are less than half of what they used to be.
