The kids are wonderful! You have a lot of freedom to implement the kind of curriculum you like and to manage the class as you will. Looks good on your resume, I guess.
Cons
Management is a complete mess and very cheap. They also know absolutely nothing about education and rely on tutors to essentially run everything.
They will hire you as a contractor rather than an actual employee in order to avoid having to give you benefits and as a tax loophole, so I ended up having to pay hundreds of dollars in taxes out of pocket.
I was told when hired that I would receive training and be given curriculum, but the curriculum I was given was just random math worksheets printed out from websites and no training. As such, I had to go out of my way and work from home to create my own curriculum from scratch.
The pay is extremely low tier for what you're expected to do and what management charges the parents. I was regularly expected to come in last minute with just a couple of hours warning.
All management cares about is keeping the parents happy and making money by overcharging them.
