Pros

Could work from home (mostly) Other employees were pleasant to interact with (mostly)

Cons

The horrible IT setup provided. - Having to work through a remote computer with input lag and possible network issues. - All settings are reset every time you connect to your workstation, this includes basic things like the keyboard language. - Having to sign into all systems every day (and every time you have to restart due to technical issues). Uncomfortable Jabra headset. Super restrictive IT environment. - Not having access to basic things like Notepad. - Can’t use the inspect tool in Chrome. - Can’t even direct message colleagues on Teams. - Can’t use Task Manager (to do simple things like end the Teams process when Teams is unresponsive). - Almost all websites are blocked, including basic safe websites that commonly come up when googling technical issues. Expectations of coming into the office: - For things that are not mandatory to do in person. - At our own cost and time when the job already pays so little. - Due to technical issues with the equipment they provided. Why would I spend my time, energy, and money to go to an office because I was provided with faulty equipment?

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
