Pros

started working for Teleperformance Portugal more than two years ago, started out as an agent but quickly various opportunities arose. Got promoted quickly to functions matching my skills. I´ve also seen many people who got promoted quickly. Teleperformance is a growing company so qualified people are really needed. The integration into Portugal was really smooth, the apartment was good and all documentation was provided for. After a while I moved to my own apartment because I wanted more freedom. If you are thinking about starting here I suggest you start with the apartment because it financially the better deal. The time outside of work is also really fun, there are plenty of activities such as parties and sports to keep you engaged outside of work.

Cons

For a company with more than 5.000 people communications can get tricky as is to be expected, Teleperformance Portugal is improving internal communications but there is still plenty of room for improvement here. The salary is enough to live comfortably, do not however expect to save money on the salary

Calls are back to back and you have to meet all metrics.

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
