Pros

The benefits and PTO are excellent. Although the healthcare costs have gone up significantly over the last several years, it is hard to beat. Since the buyout from Towerbrook, PTO has gone down for new employees but the PTO is still generous. The 401K takes 5 years to get your FULL match, which is rather long compared to others in the industry. The 401K has a tier system where 4 years of employment you get 80%, 3 years= 60%, 2 years = 40%, 1 year =20% vestment. This is all I can say for pros.

Cons

There are honestly too many cons so I will focus on 5 different things I experienced and saw. The other negative reviews on here are accurate in what they say, so read those too. 1) OFFICE POLITICS- Office politics are rampant throughout the company. Middle management is incompetent at best. If you don't play the politics and get in with the correct people in leadership positions you will NEVER advance or get anywhere in this company. There are obvious cliques that talented employee will see right away in middle management and senior leadership. If you get on the wrong side or upset of one of these "leaders"... your career is done. Be prepared to be harassed to the point of making you quit. I cannot stress this enough, BE READY TO PLAY OFFICE POLITICS AT CORPORATE OFFICE! You will see these groups right away from day 1. 2) SENIOR LEADERSHIP- This "leadership" team is a 'good ole boys club.' They are bunch of buddies that have worked together at previous companies and bring their friends along with them and hire them into high level positions. There are no internal promotions to high level leadership positions and you better make sure you are part of the boys club if you want to be one of the high level "leaders". Also, just a side note, there isn't one minority leader in the company at the corporate office, heck there aren't really even any minority leaders in middle management either! The lack of diversity limits the company in so many ways. 3) HR- HR does not do their job and will protect these previously mentioned cliques and "leaders". HR has no ability to remain unbiased when it comes to their buddies. Even the outside HR business partners they hire in as consultants are told about the certain "untouchable" people and to never consider taking any action against said people. 4) METRICS- TriMedx literally will track everything you do, TO A FAULT. I completely understand the need for metrics and measuring success but when you literally have a productivity report for a productivity report, it gets a little unnecessary. TriMedx is bent on using unnecessary metrics to the point where they are more focused on some obscure report instead of actually looking at the bigger picture and what is really going on. They are so focuses on numbers because it plays a big role on how they will trick new customers into signing contracts. It is too easy to get lost in the numbers with them so just know every single possible thing that can be tracked and measured will be, to a fault. Again, I understand the need for metrics to measure success and productivity of employees but TriMedx takes it to a whole new level. Instead of being treated like a person, you are a machine, and as that machine, you better produce those unrealistic numbers for them. 5) PAY- I could go on all day about the cons of TriMedx because the last topic i'll dive into is pay. TriMedx notoriously pays WAY below the market median/average. Use Glassdoor or Payscale and go look up your job title. I know my pay personally was ~15K BELOW the market median in Indianapolis for my job. They try to say they make it up to you through their benefits... The fact is they will not pay you well and they will not consider negotiating or paying you a fair market rate. I sincerely hope this review helps just one person avoid the situation I unknowingly got myself in and had to endure for far too long. Do your research if you are considering working here, especially at the corporate office in Indianapolis. Read the other reviews on Glassdoor. You will see a trend... there is a reason why those same topics keep appearing. The fact is TriMedx has major issues and simply will not address them or attempt to change.

Pros

Healthcare benefits and pto accrual

Cons

Site manager had no supervision skills and a bad attitude. Continuously spread drama between employees, discussed salaries between technicians. Gave annual and biannual performance reviews but promotions and raises were not based on performance. Raises were biased and to employees favored by site manager. Empty promises to retain employees. No standards and a concerning tolerance for laziness in which work was passed off to more productive employees. Lead technicians were given tasks of supervising lazy employees and asked to deal with it. Ultimately making non-supervision compensated employees responsible for their actions. Supervisors had very concerning language and profanity to technician's. All is all, could be a great job but management and lack of support from HR makes it a hostile work environment. Lack of training, asked to complete maintenance and repairs on equipment without proper training. No opportunities for advancement within the company.
