Pros
Most of what needs to be shared about TRX has already been expressed in other reviews. The pro’s are centered around a great product and a young passionate staff. Access to fitness classes on site, free coffee and occasional happy hours are all nice, but these perks have become the bare minimum standards in most SF based businesses and hardly justify mention. The cubicles are filled with hard working, positive people despite the challenges presented by top level leadership year after year.
Cons
Ultimately every company is a reflection of its highest level leadership and TRX is no exception. The CEO has built and continues to support a dysfunctional culture based on blame, fear and lack of top-down responsibility. For years TRX has struggled and failed to build or achieve an annual plan because rather than incorporating valuable input from the men and women who are working to make the company a success, the CEO and his male dominant Executive inner-circle push down unrealistic and unachievable targets resulting in chronic misses, staggering turnover, annual layoffs and unpaid bonuses. Great corporate performance requires great leadership and this simply does not exist at the highest levels within the walls of TRX.
