Pros
Some of the best people work here! The pay for IT folks were within industry standards for the area. The staff are serious about getting the job done but also joke around and can have fun to break up the monotony!
Cons
Salaried folks (Managers, Quality, IT, Accounting, Purchasing, etc.) are expected to work over 40 hours a week "whenever the lines need bodies" which was, unfortunately, often. Weekends can be impacted by lack of planning or insight from Management\Nissan which drove production and often wouldn't find out until Thursday night or Friday morning which made scheduling daycare or help with family difficult. Hourly employees could can take on many hours of overtime they were willing to work. This could be a boon for someone who needs the extra cash, but you don't get a choice on "when" you worked overtime, which could drastically harm family life. Loud radios were to be worn at all times, which could impact work.
