Pros

Some talented mid-level and junior staff who genuinely care about clients

Cons

Since the appointment of the new APAC leadership team, the business has deteriorated beyond recognition. What was once a company with strong values, client trust, and employee pride has been reduced to a hollow shell where self-preservation is the only priority of the so-called senior leadership team. The culture has shifted entirely. Instead of collaboration, transparency, and accountability, we now face secrecy, mismanagement, and broken promises. The focus is no longer on driving growth or supporting clients, but rather on protecting the positions of a few individuals who deliver little to no value. Their strategy is simply to protect themselves, push accountability downwards, and reward cronyism over performance. Innovation is a word thrown around constantly, yet our technology remains dysfunctional, overpromised, and underdelivered. Clients are consistently let down, and the reputation we once enjoyed in the industry is now slipping away rapidly. The financial direction is equally poor. Instead of investing in growth, the approach has been to cut critical resources while creating new roles only to prop up a handful of incompetent leaders. This hypocrisy is evident to everyone internally, and it has destroyed employee morale. If Dentsu does proceed with this sale, the message to potential buyers is clear: remove the entire C-Suite in APAC who are clearly in over their heads. The rot starts and ends with them. Their incompetence, greed, and lack of accountability have driven this company into the ground. Until they are replaced with leaders who have both the competence and integrity to steer the business, there is no future here.

Pros

No pros to mention. Zero. Tag is even suffering financially.

Cons

You are cattle to Tag. You are a dollar sign until you’re too burned out - at which point you’re a liability and swiftly disposed of. Tag is somehow less human than any other agency I’ve worked at. We’re hemorrhaging employees as people flee to greener pastures (anywhere other than Tag) and bring their talents elsewhere. Tag has lost a tremendous amount of talented individuals during my time here whether working them to the bone or alienating them. Their HR department is a joke, run by people who take pleasure in stripping any dignity or rights from employees. We’re not even profitable. Your job will always be in question due to severe overselling while not being provided the resources to deliver. Do not work AT or WITH Tag if you care about your mental health. If the job market weren’t so bad, I would have been out of here a long time ago.
