Pros
*If you can put heads in beds, the company loves you and rewards you. Of course, this is very dependent upon how the university's enrollment is trending and how new the property is. *Management tends to leave you alone for most of the year. An annoying corporate leasing person will inevitably visit a few times per year. Just smile and nod. *Your coworkers are generally low performing mouth breathers so expectations are low. *This company will hire anyone...so why not get some experience here, use the company card for a lot of meals, and then move on to a better property management company when you have a better resume?
Cons
*They feed their employees a lot of teamwork/we're a family BS to get the workers to work harder for free. *The "totally confidential" surveys they send out are not anonymous at all. Your keystrokes are recorded. *You aren't allowed to take any time off in July or August because you need to work nearly every day at your site or another. *They say they value diversity, and will slap a picture of every POC on their socials, but the corporate office is very homogenous.
