Working at Taknek LLC has been a dynamic and rewarding experience, especially given the company’s focus on innovation in industrial automation, machine manufacturing, and construction. Here’s an honest overview of my experience as part of the team: Growth Opportunities: Taknek has been a great place to learn and grow. The company operates in diverse fields—from automation and controls to heavy industrial construction—which allows employees to gain exposure to different industries and challenges. With its emphasis on custom solutions, every project feels unique, and I've had the chance to work on exciting assignments that have helped me expand my technical skills. Company Culture: The culture at Taknek is professional yet collaborative. There’s a strong focus on quality and safety, and everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas, which fosters a sense of belonging and ownership. While the workload can be intense, the management values and recognizes hard work, which keeps morale high. The team is supportive, and cross-functional collaboration is encouraged, creating a space for learning from each other. Leadership and Management: The leadership at Taknek is hands-on and open to new ideas. Managers are accessible and offer guidance without micromanaging, which allows for a comfortable level of autonomy. They are also focused on finding ways to improve operations and processes, which makes the environment feel progressive and forward-thinking. Overall: Taknek is a fantastic place for those who are motivated and eager to learn. The variety of projects, supportive team, and commitment to innovation make it a great company to be a part of. I’d recommend Taknek to anyone looking for a role that offers continuous learning, exciting projects, and a chance to make an impact in the industrial sector.

Challenges: One area where Taknek could improve is in structured training programs. Given the complex nature of the work, formal onboarding and skill development programs would help new hires and existing employees keep up with evolving industry demands. Additionally, project timelines can be tight, which sometimes creates pressure, but the challenging environment is also rewarding.

The only pro is that customers don’t give them their business and waste time and money.

This is the worst run organization I’ve ever seen. They lie to their stakeholders, shareholders, and well… themselves. The CEO claims to be an expert in the world of automation, but one conversation with him can tell you all you need to know. They expect their workers to drive to sites without proper compensation. They lie about where they “manufacture.” They source everything from India and lie about lead time and costs to customers. I’ve seen customers literally accuse them of price gauging. For very good reason. HR is scared to speak up. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY TOXIC WORK PLACE. Even if you’re at the end of your rope, still don’t give them a chance.
