Cons
- Accountability: some people are employed for much longer than they should based on their performance (loyal to a fault in this regard) - Processes can be implemented for no real reason, other than one senior leader thinks it is a good idea (many times it is not and a waste of time, effort and money) - Although succession planning and pipelining is an extremely smart approach to any large business, following the pandemic, will companies be willing to partner for these services? - Small consulting firm is reliant on clients and therefore, need employees to do the work; if these clients end their relationships with TI, unfortunately, there is not enough revenue to support headcount
