Pros

The HR manager is extremely pleasant. One Sales Executive named Chris is going to make for a successful leader/manager, hopefully his abilities, professionalism, and skills won't be wasted at this organization long term. CEO is very interactive with employees. Free food and drinks, at the expense that there is nothing in range to drive to within your alloted lunch period (pro or con, you decide). Mike is an extremely knowledgble and effective mentor/leader. Nice building space.

Cons

While at the company, I maintained a convoluted opinion in regards to the organization's hierarchy structure. For example, as a combat veteran having served my country, due to multiple combat related medical injuries, I have disabled veterans plates on my vehicle. On my very first day at work, I parked in a handicapped parking space due to one of my combat related injuries. The CFO Shelly happened to be walking by as I got out of my vehicle. While walking to the building, she began to scold me for parking in the handicapped space without knowing my medical needs. Not employing this initial level of discrimination as a guaging measuring factor and glaring red flag was a drastic mistake. One particular manager micro managed so much, I had to leave notes on the desktop of my computer documenting times and durations on when and how long I went to the restroom just in case he walked by and noticed me gone from my station and inquired where I was once I was back. Work life balance is sub/par in relation to the sick/vacation days policy. Sales team undervalued and underappreciated. Prior to leaving, there was an incident where the Sales Executives that worked there prior to me coming onboard did not get paid there commission in some debacle. CFO. Micromanagement in every capacity. Short term job, not structured or geared if you're looking for a long term career with growth potential. These are just a few points on the laundry list of cons that were glaring to me before I made the mistake of fully committing and finally leaving for a better opportunity. Many of the dedicated, passionate, and hard working employees are just starting their working careers and have limited experience working for other organizations. With any other company, you receive the good with the bad and the ugly; all the bad and ugly I've still experienced with other companies at least prompted me to get out of this place ASAP.

Pros

Your work directly helps people find jobs and helps employers staff critical roles. You can see the impact of your models through A/B tests and real hiring outcomes, not just abstract metrics. The ML team works closely with the business, so projects are focused on moving the needle rather than just research. Good technical challenges with large-scale data (billions of signals), modern ML stack, and exposure to the full lifecycle from data engineering to production deployment. Team is collaborative and supportive, leadership is clear about priorities, and there's real ownership over your work.

Cons

Like many mid-size tech companies, resources can be tight so you need to be scrappy and wear multiple hats. The pace can be intense when there are competing priorities. Austin office is smaller so if you're looking for a huge ML team with tons of specialized roles, this might not be it. Some legacy systems and technical debt to work through.
