Pros

Flexible scheduling Good Benefits (if full time/been there a while/Team leader or above status) Direct Deposit Rotating weekends (If team leader or above) Professional development twice a month Everything has a best practice to it, and if not multiple ways to find an answer Management wants you to succeed

Cons

Weekends Early morning work start (330am/4am, depending on your store, position, and what your ETL wants) Pay is not great for the amount of stress and management that you have to do, unless you are a veteran who got promoted, otherwise a new hire or promotion could be looking at only $9-$12/hr. High turn over rate for all levels of employees. A lot expected to do in not enough time and unreasonable paces.

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
