started at Task Away when I was in the throws of a terrible divorce and had no other income and was trying to get moved and collect my life. Task Away took a chance on me and started me at hours and clients that allowed me the flexibility to handle everything coming at me. As my life settled down it was always easy for me to come to them and say "I'm ready for more!" and they were quick to accommodate and find me busier clients to fill my work day. There is always training available if you want it, you are expected to be available during the days, but it was NEVER an issue if I needed time for a Dr, Dentist, Veterinarian for my fur babies or personal/vacation. I cannot say enough good things about Task Away and the freedom it has offered me and the ability to be a stay at home dog mom, all while keeping the fridge full. If you love customer service rolls and dream of working at home I highly recommend Task Away. I've never been in a more supportive work place.

None! This is one of the best places I've ever worked. The only "con" I can think of is due to it's nature as an "as needed" service it's not a "full time" with benefits etc type position. But I didn't go into it looking for that and if you understand it's not that type of position, you'll do great.

As a virtual assistant, I appreciate the flexibility of being in an “available” status while still having the freedom to manage my day. I handle phone calls, emails, and other client needs with ease, all while maintaining a balanced schedule. Weekly pay is also a great plus!

One important consideration is that availability between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. in your client's time zone is expected. Compensation is tracked by the second through Clockify and paid per task, which means income can vary. Some weeks may bring just 30 minutes of work, while others could offer 15 hours or more. Many of the VA's work multiple clients to get the hours they are looking for each week.
