Pros

- The company offers free lunch every day. - Easy access if you're from nearby cities like Bacoor, Imus, and Dasma. - The facility is well-maintained and provides a comfortable working environment. - HR takes legal action for bullying and harassment; however, some managers discourage pushing issues to HR to avoid blame for problems within their cluster.

Cons

- The salary offered is relatively low compared to industry standards. - Management pushes agents to reach metrics targets, but the only bonus is 200 pesos, given infrequently. Unlike my previous telco account job, where hard work was fairly rewarded. - Many accounts are startup companies lacking a proper knowledge base, especially for launch campaigns. - Agents often get scolded for mistakes without having been provided with proper guidelines beforehand. - Numerous agents experience unpaid floating status for 2-4 weeks. - Promised auto-approved leave benefits are untrue. Monthly limits are enforced, especially for launch campaigns. - Career growth is very slow, with some teammates remaining agents for 5-8 years. - HMO was changed in May 2024, causing issues as the new HMO's customer service is hard to contact, leading to long waits for LOAs.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
