Pros

It used to be fun. When in the office in Santa Monica, there are still some nice perks and it's a cool vibe. Having the studio on-location is a neat experience and great for clients.

Cons

Unless you work as a sales person or have a more senior role on the editorial programming team, you are not respected by leadership. Most teams (production, brand strategy, account management) are effectively garbage and treated as such by sales and leadership. You are only valued based on the revenue you can bring in, and even still, unless you are a sales person as mentioned you will be treated disrespectfully and your work-life balance will be disregarded on a regular basis. The "old Tastemade" was a great place to work - lots of perks, younger/more junior employees were given a voice, it was very much a work-hard-play-hard environment. Now, it's just "keep your head down, work hard, and try not to be walked all over." Personally, I would avoid unless you're fresh out of school and want something nice on your resume but don't plan on staying long.
