Pros
They’ve got their hands on incredibly valuable data but no clue what to do with it. The people they hire truly care and made a few friends that will last.
Cons
This is a company out of Tel Aviv that does not understand their customers or how consumer insights work. For that reason, they have lost almost every large customer they have. When people speak up about improvement or suggestions, they are met with resistance and several reasons why it won’t work. Instead the people making suggestions are gaslit about why they didn’t have better relationships with their customers. Guess what…customers aren’t buying people (that called something else and is illegal btw), they are buying your product that’s not delivering value. They hired an extremely obnoxious and immature CMO whos frantic energy and rash decision making is driving the company to the ground. Heard several reports of him screaming at people in the headquarters office. Has hired all his minions to run the company with him and given them jobs they are extremely unqualified for which has caused other good employees to either get fired or quit. His minions are remote global workers btw and then they force the TLV office to work from headquarters 4 days a week…make it makes sense! Their sales pitch is the first AI for good and beverage, yet bc of their lack of industry knowledge, They are unaware that they are extremely behind with their tool- other AI tools are trained to answer business questions accurately and in a conversational way, delivering significant value. Clients used to tell me the new AI tools were a nice to have vs drooling over them at my new company. They are way behind than my current company on the AI front- for both internal and external use cases. Again the CMO believes their customers budgets were coming from the marketing budget so developed a ton of tools that didn’t even fit the needs of their core budget holders. Data quality and methodologies are not a focus, this is the core issue. Overall, lack of quality management team, lack of a coherent product strategy, lack of proper feedback mechanisms and lack of basic human empathy -aka a management team who only believe the good ideas come from themselves. Very scary future for Tastewise and its employees.
