Pros

This is very short list: some (not many considering it is a small team) of the people that work there are very nice. That is probably the only real pro.

Cons

Poor management skills, no real incentives, practically no career development opportunities, very little to learn. And don't get me started on the Founder/CEO: manipulative, liar, arrogant and full of himself. Most of the work you do is database management or, at best, event planning. You learn very few skills. Was also extremely disappointing how our work relationship ended, very poor on their side.

Pros

Close working environment and you get to know everyone really well! It provides for a good community. The hours were good and the work is reasonable!

Cons

I had no complaints from interning here!

Pros

The CEO believes sending interesting articles around the office is more beneficial than actual work, so you get to read a lot.

Cons

Zero growth at the firm which is the last thing you want in a company. Margins were incredibly tight so company was forced to get rid of higher payroll and more experienced employees. The way this company goes about investor relations is laughable. During my time there, zero employees had buyside experience outside of myself. There are employees there that do work hard, and then there are others (CEO) included who are outrageously lazy. The CRM software at the company was ancient, unorganized and counterproductive. You will find no initiative to help improve the company from a technology, or client deliverable standpoint. Despite being a small company there is little to no collaboration or communication aside from the "COO" (glorified HR/ Administrative Assistant) incessantly talking about nonsense an other inappropriate topics. Instead of showing up and actually communicating with his employees, the CEO actually demands a email at the end of each day detailing everything you did in half hour increments. From the top down it is truly a joke of an organization and I wish I had never even joined. I was severely mislead during the interview process and am much happier since I've left.
