Pros

The other staff are great. The people are silver lining to this place.

Cons

Ownership and management are delusional. This place is hemorrhaging talent from every level, including formerly long tenured staff. A merger that resulted in a far worse place than where at least one of the two original companies once started. The CEO Don is an unhinged, chest-puffing bully, who is woefully disconnected from any semblance of ethical or moral conduct. He openly boasted on company wide Teams channels about having attorneys contact an individual that was hired before a background checks were completed, who then failed the background check after having an offer extended. He willfully lies to and misleads staff, making promises that never come to fruition. Communications barely exist. Important announcements are made over Teams and in unrelated comment threads rather than organization wide emails. While you're there, you can catch the one of other owner's dimly lit pictures from a 5am run since he treats the organizational Teams tenant like it's social media. Working here means you'll be misled when not outright lied to. You'll be driven to the bone by people that are incompetent. An outside company will routinely bungle your benefits and payroll and no one will do anything about it. You'll be lead by a trio of incompetence that don't see they are the biggest problem the company is facing. So as the headline says. Don't walk away, run.

Pros

The people at Teal make it fun to come to work. There are clearly a lot of people who want to do the right thing and do it well. The company shows how much they care about the team as well through various incentives and well-being offers.

Cons

Teal went through a merger and has been trying to find itself since then. It seems to be through the bulk of the storm, but there is some uncertainty.
