Pros

young co-workers to form friendships with, free snacks, beautiful office, friendly upper management

Cons

micromanagement, no work/life value, poor management, low salaries, no 401K match, only 5 holidays. For creative minds in particular: THEY DO NOT HAVE ACTUAL CREATIVE POSITIONS a typical day will consist of you changing prices/copy and pasting on pre-made templates no room for growth

Thank you for taking the time to write a review! It takes a lot of gumption to write a review as a current employee and we really appreciate it. In the ad business, we work when our clients work. Sometimes that means working over the weekend and late at night to get the job done. Part of the reason why we have template-based campaigns is to speed up the process to help reduce the amount of overtime work. As far as opportunities for advancement go, the ad world is a competitive one. Everyone is vying for a few desirable upper-level positions, especially when it comes to creative design. As you can see from those who have grown with us, hard-working folks who do the ordinary extraordinarily well are rewarded with more responsibility. But just like in any competitive industry, it takes going above and beyond your current job description to show you can handle more responsibility before you are rewarded with a career advancement. We recently promoted a new Art Director and a Senior Designer, and certainly plan to continue to make these opportunities available. We would love to hear from you if you are interested, so please don't be shy and swing by the HR office.

Pros

One of the biggest pros of working with Team Velocity Marketing is the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry. The company gives you exposure to automotive marketing, SEO, client strategy, technology, and team collaboration in a way that keeps the work interesting and rarely repetitive. There are always new challenges to solve, which can help you build stronger skills, take on more responsibility, and learn from experienced people across different departments. The team environment is also a major plus, with supportive coworkers who care about doing good work and helping clients succeed.

Cons

One potential con of working with Team Velocity Marketing is that the fast-paced environment can sometimes feel demanding, especially when priorities shift quickly or multiple deadlines overlap. Because the company operates in a competitive and constantly changing industry, there can be a lot to keep up with, from client needs to platform updates and internal processes. At times, the workload may feel heavy, and communication across teams can vary depending on the project or situation. That said, these challenges also come with the territory of working in a growing, high-energy marketing company, and they can be manageable for people who are adaptable, organized, and comfortable with change.
