Cons
Welp. Our SVP of Enterprise just left the company so things are going to be messy. There has been little to no marketing support coming from Germany. Little product innovation. We purchased 1E and it has massive product issues and customer support issues. CEO and senior leaders in Germany say the Americas business is important but they don’t back it up. Honestly they have no clue how to support a large organization in the US and are utterly clueless when it comes to supporting enterprise sales motions. They still focus primarily on inside sales which just beats up their customer base until there is nothing left. There are going to be a lot of leaders leaving I suspect… with the SVP gone since he was the only one that knew how to build an enterprise SaaS business and Germany just wore him out. I don’t blame him though because everything was an uphill battle (even simple things). Remote access is a shrinking market and our only chance of recovery is DEX. But 10 months post acquisition there has been no product investment. No marketing and they haven’t even come up with enterprise packaging or bundling Outside of my colleagues that I love this was the worst career decision I ever made.
