Company helps develop your teaching skills in a small classroom environment. Company allows for opportunities to learn a wide variety of cross-disciplinary skills related to S.T.E.M. education. Positive and supportive environment. As long as you get to work on time and fulfill your obligations, expect to be valued! Casual environment, dress code is work provided t-shirts and pants w/o holes (jeans included!) Company parties/outings every few months when milestones are reached (end of summer camps, special events including eclipse viewing and anything related to science and technology education) Hourly wages competitive with average wages given to students in school. Management always willing to help.
Cons
Teaching is not for everyone. You must be able to handle children's behavior and interact professionally with parents. As a Start-up, there are very few to none full time salaried positions. Thus there is little advancement available at this time.
