Pros
The paychecks cleared. That is about it.
Cons
They are really just a paymaster for broadcast and AV companies that dont want to put a tech people on staff. So while you are basically paid a staff rate (about 60% of a freelance rate). You are just a glorified freelancer. The benefits package is worthless. It was cheaper (and a better insurance) to COBRA Health Insurance from last job. And the small amount of PTO days dont make up for the rate cut. You have NO job security, you can be let go at moments notice for no cause at all. And while you might think, working thru Tech_Ops, you might get an "in" with a major broadcaster. That will NEVER happen, even if the client wanted to hire you fulltime on staff, the contract they have with Tech-Ops would require them to pay Tech Ops your salary for a year to bring you on staff.
